It can also machine the dies for precision press dies, the mold base of plastic molds and forging dies. It can handle payloads weighing up to 1,760 pounds (800 kg)  |
CNC lathes are rapidly replacing the older production lathes (multispindle, etc) due to their ease of setting and operation. They are designed to use modern carbide tooling and fully utilize modern processes. The parts are designed by the Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) process, the resulting file uploaded to the machine, and once set and trialed the machine will continue to turn out precision parts. We have a high level of experience with this process.  |
